31st Mar. At Neo Chorio. The first turtle dove of the year was singing.

And a few final words for March.....    A month where migration is picking up and there were some good birds about despite some bad weather that restricted time spent out looking.  Along with our good friends John and Patti we saw the rose coloured starling, but did not see enough of it. The pratincole was exceptionally early and the lesser  spotted eagle was a welcome bonus.

My right hand man is getting very good at finding birds. She delights in spotting something before I do and then rubs it in! Perhaps I ought to charge for all the training she is getting!

Until next month, good watching.  Paul Smith.
