|There are many superb exhibits of archeological artifacts from ancient Athens, discovered during the construction of the modern metro. Photographs of digs which uncovered entire communities - roads, streets foundations of houses, drainage systems and even cemeteries. There are many complete and reconstructed items of pottery, toys and household goods displayed at several stations. Even, at Syntagma, a sectioned stone coffin complete with skeleton. Well worth a visit.|
